Practical steps to install, configure and style Gallery Filter — plus the small FAQ that answers most support tickets.

Getting started

  1. 1Install: Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin → select the ZIP → Activate.
  2. 2Requirements: WordPress 5.8+, PHP 7.4+, Elementor (free or Pro).
  3. 3Add projects under Gallery Filter → Projects, or use manual items inside the widget.
  4. 4Drop the Gallery Filter widget onto any Elementor page and start styling.

Before/After setup

  1. 1Open a project → set the Before image and the After image.
  2. 2The slider appears on the card and enlarged in the lightbox.
  3. 3Style the divider, handle and Before/After labels in the widget's Style tab.

Filter setup & styling

  1. 1Choose Auto (built from items) or Custom (define the exact order).
  2. 2Pick a button style: Pills, Outline, Underline or Minimal.
  3. 3Enable single-line scroll on mobile for narrow screens.
  4. 4Everything else — colors, typography, spacing — is native Elementor.

Updating the plugin

  1. 1Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin → select the new ZIP → Replace.
  2. 2Clear any caching plugin and CDN, then hard-refresh (Cmd/Ctrl + Shift + R).
  3. 3Your projects and settings are preserved across updates.
